You should be careful because of two things (maybe three):
- the increased current may not be supported that well by the stock cabling - if some cables are half-way broken but still having contact (just before plugs, for example), the cable *can* become damn hot and you could possibly have a barbecue on top of your burning Savage...
- the plastic case of the lamp may not like the increased temperatures and start melting...
- in some countries (depending on where you live), such lamps are strongly forbidden (as is the case here in Germany)!
